I am habitually a five star rater, however, this one was different. The tour leader, Patrick was young and a little full of himself. For instance, he had the attitude that his customers were ignorant of things like how to clean a cast iron pan, the meaning of the term low country, etc. Morevover, two of the four venues became primarily an opportunity to sell drinks rather than focus on the food. The food was good but by no means extraordinary.
This your will not disappoint! There are four stops, three have food, the last is dessert. It takes 2.5 hrs and you get a lot of history about the food, chefs, Charleston, and more! Patrick was our tour guide and he was amazing. Sixth generation Charstonian, he knew his stuff! Must do to get a taste around town.
