Iā€™ve been on many walking tours of different cities and without a doubt Las Vegas Walking Tour was the best one Iā€™ve been on. Our guide Kelly was super informative and willing to answer any questions. His pride in downtown Vegas is evident. By the end of our stay in Vegas, my wife and I agreed the highlight of the trip was the walking tour.

A must if you come to Vegas. Kelly our tour guide entertained, informed us about Downtown Vegas. It was great to hear the history of Vegas and how it all started Downtown Vegas; and the rejuvenation of Downtown Vegas. The casinos were buzzing - you are more likely to take longer losing your money in Downtown Vegas than on The Strip. Food, accommodation is cheaper. There is a cool zip line that goes across two blocks; the Mob Museum and lots of bars. It is not seedy - it is well worth a visit and if you do, go on the Las Vegas Walking Tour (highly recommended) and donā€™t rush off to the Stratosphere. Stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The Deuce Bus runs from the Strip to Downtown Vegas. Thanks Kelly.

Take this tour. You'll learn about how Las Vegas turned from a parched piece of earth with no obvious reason to become a thriving city (hint: it involves rail transportation), how "downtown" has morphed from a place you just didn't go to a place that has destinations that only cool-kids-in-the-know can find (hint: it involves shoes), how to find butter-infused milk shakes, and other essential information. It's a slow, short walk, so anyone can do it, and there is a lot of fascinating stuff to learn. (Plus, we used one of the gambling tips to make a ridiculous return on a modest bet.)
