Awesome tour of old Vegas. Last about 2 hours. Covers the history of Las Vegas. Out tour guide Kelly was awesome. Be prepared to walk but you will not notice as the time flys by. If your not into the history, then spend your time gambling. However, the best deals for food and gaming is off the strip downtown. If you're an intellect at all or enjoy history-- do this tour before you leave Vegas.

Put on your comfy walking shoes and follow Kelly through the streets and buildings of the original Las Vegas as he tells you all about the past, prssent and future of downtown Vegas. When we were here 19 years ago we were warned not to go into this part of town but things have really changed for the better recently. Kelly has all the stories and pictures to show as you walk with him down Fremont street. His passion for the area shines through as he talks constantly for the 2 hour easy strolling paced walk (my 80 year old Mum handled it well). Each person is provided with an ear phone so you don't miss a word he says. We were so inspired by his morning talk that we will be going back there tonight to see the area light up. At the end of the tour he gives everyone discount vouchers for various attractions in the area in addition to the many tips on how to save money on things like meals and accommodation he provides along the way. We've done walking tours in several countries, but this was the best, by far. Do yourself a favour and don't miss this one, it's well worth the money!

Not only does this tour force you to leave the chaos of the Strip for the semi-historic downtown area, but Kelly will expertly walk you through about a century of history in just a few hours. He will also show you some EXCELLENT values and some really cool things to do after the tour. For example: within 30 minutes of finishing the trip I was able to touch a piece of the Berlin Wall in a men's bathroom. Anyone with even a minor interest in Las Vegas will enjoy this tour! I only wish I had cash on hand to tip the guide more!
