Overview

"Drink sir, is a great provoker..."

The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+

The performance was amazing. A great blend of script and improv. Loved every second of it. It wasn’t too long, wasn’t too short. It felt like we were in a secret place doing secret things. The drinks were good and the service to bring them to us was top notch. Very easy to pay out, too which took a minor stressor out of my mind that remained from a show that makes you forget.

An amazing time! If you're debating whether you should go or not, just go! It will be worth it. I was on a solo trip to NYC and had an empty evening to fill. I bought a ticket day-of and am so glad I did. The 'balcony' seats were perfect for an introvert like me. I was able to clearly see everything happening but not be roped into involvement (sit on the lower two sections if that's your thing!). There are no bad seats in this small intimate theater. QR code ordering makes getting drinks easy during the show. The 90 minutes flies by too quickly. I could easily have watched another hour or two of the cast's shenanigans!

Excellent performances by all cast members. Shakespeare, sketch comedy, and improv all rolled into one great show. Hilarious and witty. They do a fantastic job getting the audience involved. Would definitely see again.
