The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+, photo ID and proof of COVID vaccination is required at the door.

I attended this mess of a show in late June and we hoped for something unique and clever. What we got were 3rd rate drama students who ranted and raved about sex and alcohol, lots of F-bombs (with a little Shakespeare thrown in)and that’s about it. It wasn’t funny, at times uncomfortable as hell and it’s beyond me how this mess of a show has garnered so many positive reviews. I mean this show is so freaking bad it’s painful. Partial nudity from someone you definitely don’t want to see naked either. Avoid at all costs…

We all enjoyed the show at Drunk Shakespeare. The actors were all very creative, and they got the audience members involved, too. It was a little bit of real Shakespeare with a lot of improv and pop culture references and some great singing, with a few moments of nudity... All in all, a wild roller coaster ride. A little hard to find - It is inside the Yotel on the 4th floor.

We went to the show in NYC and had a blast! Endless laughs and truly talented actors who maneuvered between Shakespeare and contemporary pop culture with ease. We laughed the whole time. You do not have to know the plays to enjoy this lively show!
