It has been a tradition for many years to illuminate these homes with thousands of lights and dazzling Christmas scenes and has become a friendly competition between owners. You won't just see the lights; you'll walk through the neighborhoods with a guide to hear the stories behind this fun holiday event that brings thousands of people here each year. You may even meet some homeowners who are a proud part of this festive holiday.

Brooklyn Bridge

On your way back to Manhattan, you'll see the spectacular New York skyline and some of the beautiful displays on our stop at the Brooklyn Bridge.

Get beautiful views from the Brooklyn Bridge of the Manhattan Skyline. You'll be dropped off in Midtown to conclude your tour.

We were told to arrive by 4:45 for a 5 leave time. The bus and driver were there at 4:30 but the person that was supposed to check us in didn't show up which left us all standing on the street in the cold. Finally our guide showed up and tracked down the person who was supposed to check us in. So we were late leaving by about 15 minutes. They couldn't control the heat on the bus so it was pretty warm on there plus they couldn't get the Christmas music to play. When we arrived at Dyker Heights instead of the hour we were told we'd be there the guide cut it down to 45 minutes since we got a late start. So let's just say it was a fast paced walk around to see the lights. At the end of the tour we were supposed to be dropped right around times square, but that didn't happen either. They went down 3rd avenue and just started dropping people off at whatever corner was closest to where they wanted off. Our hotel was on 47th street. We took this particular tour because it started only 4 blocks from our hotel, but we were let off a mile from our hotel and on a dark isolated street. My daughter said walking back to the hotel was the scariest part of our trip.

Highly recommended - our travel agent made this reservation and I would highly recommend it. We had Lima as our guide and Robin as the driver and both were excellent. The lights were outstanding in the communities and along the way we were also shown areas of interest. very good!
