What To Expect

Battleship North Carolina

If you book on the even hours we cruise north along the Historic Downtown and Eagles Island, where you see the past come alive. Capture unique views of the Battleship, learn about rice plantations, and view shipwrecks, flora, and fauna on this 50-minute adventure.

Cape Fear River

If you book on the odd hour, we head south under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to the State Ports and learn the history of a WWII Wilmington shipyard along with current facts while watching tug boats, container ships, and pleasure boats. Bring your camera along; there are photo ops in every direction!

Everyone involved at the boat cruise company was very friendly. The cruise was informative, good historical information about the city and river was given. It was a good opportunity to enjoy the beautiful day without walking, and to meet some interesting people on the boat.

An enjoyable trip up the Cape Fear where we learned a little history and a little about wildlife. Future Trip Goers: please be respectful for those around you that want to listen to the narration from the Captain. The only negative was the people around us having multiple conversations while we were trying to enjoy this narration.

This was awesome! We had a great time and everyone was so nice! Full bar on board too! We went under the bridge and to the ports where we learned all about the carrier ships. It was great to have a margarita and hang out on the boat while learning some about the Cape Fear river!
