Took the 50 minute north river tour on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Captain was extremely knowledgeable of the area. Nicely maintained catamaran that was very smooth on the water. Really enjoyed our time seeing Wilmington from a different perspective. The only two things to keep in mind is 1) they do not have their own lot. If you can snag street parking at a meter (they accept cards) do so. We ended up paying a $25 flat fee to park in a lot. 2) The Embarking/Disembarking process includes going up and down a very steep and pretty wobbly gangway. So if you have mobility issues it’s kinda tough. Saw two elderly gentlemen disembarking and it took them 5 minutes to get up the gangway. It can be done but just keep in mind!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! Glad to know you enjoyed your cruise. Parking in downtown Wilmington offers meterd parking on the street $2/hr accepts cards and coins. 3 parking decks offer first 30 minutes free then $1/hr (during festivals and special events amt can change) Private lots change pricing, typically from $5/hr to an all day flat fee. The Cape Fear River has 5 foot tides twice a day. The recent full moon which was a "supermoon" the tides were higher and lower than normal. The downtown docks are floating docks, they rise & lower with tide. Sounds like you cruised during the lower than normal tide which made for a steeper incline. We always offer assistance to anyone with mobility issues, our staff is always on hand to offer assistance. Hope you'll consider another cruise the next time you are in town. Best, Diane

We booked a boat tour, only to have the weather turn nasty shortly after leaving the dock. The captain and crew were very professional, and safely returned us to the dock. We were granted a refund, without issue. We will definitely try to book again next time we visit Wilmington.

Thank you for your kind review. It says it all. Our #1 concern is always safety. We have had well needed rain this season with pop up storms. Our captains & crew are well trained to keep you safe and very knowledgeable of the area and offer amazingly fun educational tours. Hope to see you on your next visit of the area! Best, Diane
