This is a walking tour. While there are stops along the way, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
You are required to go through airport-style security on this tour. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.

Our guide Alvaro was excellent. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable.Would recommend this tour, learnt a lot about attitudes to immigration in the past and the pride that America has in its policies then.

My Wife and I visited NYC in August 2017 & booked this 'Small Group' tour. There were approximately 20 or so people & our guide was well prepared. We met at the designated spot & left as planned. The guide was extremely professional, knowledgeable, approachable and best of all, a local Now Yorker! The historical commentary really made this tour for us. Booking with a professional tour company is essential for this. This tour was worth every penny & I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to see the Statue & Ellis Island. Be warned though, it is a long day and if you are doing this in the heat of summer, take lots of water with you as there are not a lot of stops.

A nice experience. It is nice to visit the sites with a little historical background. Alvaro did a nice job and kept our attention for the entire excursion. When you arrive you will want to make sure you are at the Pier A building. It is a long white building along the water. We were dropped off at the main ferry terminal and it took us a bit to figure out where we were suppose to be...
