East Village Haunted Manhattan tour

Overview
Haunted Manhattan offers the most accurate—and FUN—ghost tours in the city!

On our East Village tour, a secret underworld of ghosts and ghouls reveals itself as you’re guided past 13 haunted stops by the clever, witty, and endlessly entertaining Frankie, a bartender who’s used to dealing with patrons who just don’t want to heed Last Call. From the ghost train at the Astor Place subway stop, to haunted screams in the night on Bond Street, to a cellar where one of America's greatest writers might still be sipping on some amontillado, you’ll see both landmarks and dive bars that make the East Village the legend that it is—and hear the stories of the spirits that call this area home.

A historical, hilarious, and completely hair-raising experience, Haunted Manhattan will show you the greatest city there is, like you’ve never seen it before.

We did the Greenwich Village tour which was fantastic. Our kids really loved it too. Great mix of history and story-telling.

He makes a joke about out of work actors he certainly shouldn't be an out of work actor. He is very entertaining, keeps your attention, has great comic timing and is very knowledgable about Greenwich Village. The time went too quickly. I would recommend him for your tour and the Broadway Stage.

I bought this tour for my mentee and me through Living Social; I love historic walking tours but they tend to be quite pricey so the living Social deal was essential. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and played a 'character' which was fun. This is a great way to see Greenwich Village and learn about the history of the neighborhood, its famous inhabitants, and some of its prominent architecture. I'm very glad I went on the tour.
