Climbers scale the outside of a skyscraper more than 1,200 feet above the ground, then lean out and look down from the highest outdoor platform in New York City. If optional upgrade to City Climb is selected, City Climb participants must meet the following restrictions or they will be denied entry: Age: 13+; Height: 4.9ft - 6.7ft; Maximum Weight: 310lbs; Cannot be under the influence of alcohol. Climbers aged 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Climbers must be able to speak and understand English.

Been a while since my wife and I visited an observation deck in the City. We've been up most of them, including the one that isn't around any more :( We were in town for our anniversary, so why not. Getting there was somewhat underwhelming - a crowded elevator from the fourth floor of a shopping mall wasn't a good start, and the displays in the elevator weren't visible to anyone standing round the edge. Once up there, however, I must give my compliments to the architect - the feeling of open space was splendid. The internet seems to have affected the audience - selfies and vloggers on every side. However, the overall experience was pretty good, and the snack bar was a nice touch. Would I go there again? Sure. Maybe after dark.
