We had purchased 2 pm timed tickets for the Edge.....That is irrelevant. People in front of us had 4 pm tickets people behind us had 5 pm. we all went up together?? We arrived around 1 pm thinking that we would kill some time in the mall then go up to the top at 2 pm. We arrived and found a huge line and I mean Huge !!!! walked up to the desk and asked we bought time tickets do we just come here at 2 pm? No you must get in line !! Ok so like sheep we got in line at 1 pm. We also had another event scheduled at 4 pm. Missed that completely. TWO HOURS LATER WITH TWO ELEVATORS TAKING 4 PEOPLE AT A TIME !!!! We arrived at the (top) Edge at 3 pm only to see more lines. YOU MUST WAIT ON LINE to snap a selfie picture or to stand on the glass floor area. (EDGE working yelling "you have 60 sec then must leave") YOU MUST WAIT ON LINE to go to the pointed glass Edge area (you have 60 sec then must leave) YOU MUST WAIT ON LINE if you want to buy a $21.00 plastic glass of champagne but here's the best part... YOU MUST WAIT AT THE BAR UNTIL A STANDING TABLE IS AVAILABLE TO BE SERVED. The bartenders could be reading a paperback between customers. And last but not least YOU MUST WAIT ON LINE to go back down. This is by far the worst run tourist trap in the history of New York City. Try to imagine Disney Land - on the 4th of July - run by teenage workers - that had been fired from a mall movie theater for lack of effort tearing tickets. The Edge is amazing and the view spectacular. Go to the Top of the Rock, Empire State Building or One World Trade. These are very well run and honor the ticket time. This is not a functional event to visit during Covid-19

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER The staff SUCKS. They will literally HARASS YOU if your mask comes down an inch below your nose. They won’t tell you you can’t wear a mask outside but they will still harass you if they see you taking one picture without it. Honestly the most annoying experience of my life and I would never come back here. Don’t waste your money. Go to one world observatory or something.
