The guide was very knowledgable. He spoke clearly. The tour was 12 people which was perfect. We were in the shade most of the time. We learned about how the breed abalone. We also learned how they grow and harvest seaweed. We got to taste seaweed and abalone.

Educational tour of working abalone farm. Impressive! All outdoors, so bring water and a hat. Free samples at the end! Tip the docent—she’s great!!

Super interesting. We’ve been to Kona a number of times and never knew this place existed. Definitely worth an hour or so of your time. Carlos was our guide and he was awesome! These creatures are amazing and reminds me of how diverse a planet we are fortunate enough to inhabit.

Thank you for your visit and happy to hear that you had a great time with us! 60 min educational tour would be ideal to every generation since we design to have visitors "learn", "feel", "touch" and "taste" of endangered creature, abalone as well as seaweed we grow. If you would like to taste more, you can enjoy abalone meals at food trailer within our property. It's good for lunch! Mahalo!
