Overview
If you want to spend some time on a beautiful pristine island paradise, the ferry to Egmont Key State Park from Fort De Soto is a great choice for you and your family! Get ready for a day of fun in the sun with Hubbard’s Marina. The ferry ride to the island is about 25-30 minutes and offers great chances to spot dolphins, sea turtles, and sometimes even manatees! Be sure to pack like you’re spending the day at the beach! Bring sunscreen, towels, bathing suits, protective hats, shirts. Egmont Key is a pristine island so come prepared with a cooler full of water, food and drinks.

We had a great experience. Would recommend to anyone. Captain Robin and Mike did a fabulous job of showing us some of the sights and historical things along the way to and from island.

The island that we went to (Egmont) had rich history and the beaches were beautiful. Zip and Robin gave us great hints on what to look for and where to find the best beach areas.

We took the ferry to Egmont Key. Captain Zip and Captain Robin were awesome! So informative and they made the trip so fun! We enjoyed exploring the beautiful white sand beach, Fort Dade, and the trails. Do take bug spray though if you're planning on exploring, the mosquitoes were crazy on the trails by the fort. We were able to see turtles and sea birds, and also several dolphins on the ride back. Definitely a 5 star experience!
