If you want to spend some time on a beautiful pristine island paradise, the ferry to Egmont Key State Park from Fort De Soto is a great choice for you and your family! Get ready for a day of fun in the sun with Hubbard’s Marina. The ferry ride to the island is about 25-30 minutes and offers great chances to spot dolphins, sea turtles, and sometimes even manatees! We often spot sea birds on the ride to and from Egmont Key Island aboard the Hubbard’s Ferry, our big blue boat.

Once on the island, Egmont Key offers great shelling, swimming, and opportunities for adventures. Including Fort Dade, a fort that dates back to the Spanish American war for to explore. Egmont Key is also home to a large population of endangered native gopher tortoises!

Be sure to pack like you’re spending the day at the beach! Bring sunscreen, towels, bathing suits, protective hats, shirts. Egmont Key is a pristine island so come prepared with a cooler full of water, food and drinks.

This was our first family trip to Egmont Key Island and it was amazing! Captain Art and Zip was excellent and made us all feel welcomed. It was a fun and informative tour, we enjoyed snorkeling, and the beach there is wonderful, very clean and beautiful green color! Overall this experience is 5 stars, highly recommend and we would love to do it again.

The overall experience is 5 star. They are very helpful and responsive with excellent customer service. Egmont key trip is good. Very prompt and on time ferry. Not good snorkeling but shelling and beach are good.

I chose the 11am egmont key ferry and I was nothing but satisfied. Our family of 4 had a blast and everything was clean and safe. Our captain kind of looked like joe exotic and it was fun to have him give us a tour. The crew was very interactive with the children on the boat and even sang happy birthday to one of them. I love that you aren’t forced to pay the snorkeling fee because it was kind of cloudy and we wouldn’t have seen anything. I initially was going to go with another company but I’m glad I chose Hubbards Marina.
