The El Cat, built right here in Moss Landing, is a fully electric, 32 passenger, Coast Guard-certified vessel. This is a custom 37’ catamaran built and designed especially for the waters of our very own Elkhorn Slough.

Join us on a one-of-a-kind, electric-powered catamaran ride for a wildlife tour along one of California's largest tidal waterways. Enjoy a narrated cruise along the Elkhorn Slough, a vibrant and lively wetland located on Highway 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey in Moss Landing. Scan for otters, sea lions, birds and beyond during a cruise through these peaceful waters.

The safari cruise aboard the beautiful and quiet electric cat is a dream. What a way to enjoy nature. Sneaking up on the otters and seals, numerous birds is a real pleasant way to observe them without being a threat or annoyance to them. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and provide a great experience. Well worth the cost.

This was such a cute little boat ride full of education. Our tour guides were very a knowledgeable and made it fun to learn so much in such a small amount of time. This boat ride was worth every penny!

This was an amazing experience that I didn’t expect to be as wonderful as it was. We saw so many animals and our guides were amazing. We loved the electric boat because it didn’t make any noise and it didn’t hurt the environment. I am going to take all of my guests on this tour!
