The captain and her naturalist were very friendly. They were so knowledgeable. We saw so much wildlife!! There were mother otters playing with their babies and other otters sleeping, eating, swimming and sunning. There were two kinds of pelicans and lots of other kinds of birds! The slough was restored to it’s natural state. The boat was very stable and had very high visibility. It was a relaxing morning we both enjoyed.

A very pleasant experience. I did not realize that sea otters reproduce year round. August 30th, I was pleased to see several mothers with large pups on their bellies. The guides did a lot of explaining and kept people entertained. I wish they had maneuvered closer to the really large White Pelicans, because I would have liked to have gotten a photo. Perhaps it was shallow over there. Lots of brown pelicans flying nearby. Since this is a moving boat, with lots of fresh air, my Covid 19 concerns were not as high as normal. As a precaution, they do not fill the boat to capacity and there was lots of room to separate myself from others.
