Get an early morning start with pickup from your accommodation in Memphis and relax during the 1.5-hour drive across the Tennessee border into Mississippi. On arrival in Tupelo, hop off the coach to see the modest two-room house built by Elvis' father, where The King was born and raised. Your two-hour guided tour features major points of interest that Elvis frequented, such as his elementary school, the Assembly of God church where he was exposed to Gospel music, and the soda fountain where he shared drinks with his friends. Hear tales from his childhood and the beginning of his career, such as the time his mother persuaded him to purchase a guitar instead of a rifle at Tupelo Hardware. At Elvis Presley Birthplace Park, you'll view a statue of Elvis at 13 years old. See the museum, chapel, a 'Memphis-bound' car, and exhibits including the Walk of Life, Fountain of Life, and Story Wall. Admire the views from Elvis Presley Lake before return transport to Memphis.

On Sunday April 1st We had took a viator to tupelo, and when I tell you we had the most fun with the man that picked us up, I'm telling you Darnell was so sweet and nice and very very funny he took us to tupelo and showed us around down there in Mississippi and we just had the best of time especially with him 10/10 would definitely do this again and if you ever get Darnell tell him mrs Karen and Cheyenne sent you 😉

Darnell was awesome! Showed up on time with a great attitude and an extensive knowledge of all things Elvis, Memphis, and Tupelo! Darnell is the most amazing tour guide! Not only was he engaging and funny he knows the area intimately and offered good advice on where to go, eat, visit etc - and had incredible Elvis stories! He checked on me after the trip too, as I was traveling alone. I felt like I made a friend I could rely on in an unfamiliar state. This is the tour to book! Don’t save money with the other tour - take this one!!
