MAXIMUM INDIVIDUAL WEIGHT LIMIT IS 300 LBS., with a total weight of 1100 lbs. per airplane. Anyone exceeding 300 lbs. will be required to purchase a second seat. Any group exceeding 1100 lbs. must be booked on two airplanes.
CHECK IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED TOUR.
Individual guest names, weights, and contact information must accompany all bookings.
Maximum individual weight limit is 300 lb. - 1100 lb. weight limit per airplane
Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
Gear/equipment sanitised between use

Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
The State of Hawaii lifted the face mask in public areas mandate at 11:59PM on March 25, 2022. Our staff is 100% vaccinated and our airplanes are sanitized between tours. Face masks are optional on our airplane tours.

It was a stunning flight. Our captain Caden, a cool and young guy did a great job. He made sure, that the passengers on the right as well as the passengers on the left side could take pictures of the must sees. despite the quickli changing weather conditions the flight was stable and comfortable. I had the chance to sit in the front row, next to the captain. Thank you!

The views. Our pilot was great but could’ve given a little more narration. He was 22 years old with 270 hours of flight experience and well I don’t have a problem with him at all he did a nice job I have a problem with your description that says we will have an experienced airline pilot with 20 years airline experience. You need to remove that from your description

Thank you very much for bringing this to light, it helps in so many ways. The now former owner of Air Ventures Hawaii was a 40 year retired captain for a major airline and up to July this year was still very active flying commercial tours. He has since chosen to fully retire from commercial flying, a much deserved accomplishment. Unfortuanately, all major air carriers today are feeling the pinch of the "Baby Boomer generation" of pilots are retiring in droves. A whole new generation has to try and fill the void. Air Ventures Hawaii along with retired airline and cargo pilots are extremely active cutlivating home grown pilots from Hawaii to become the next generstion of professional pilots. Candidate pilots, most who are very young at least in comparison to myself, have all gone through a rigorous 2 year training process, some with 4 years at the most prestigious Aviation Colleges before ever being considered for a flying position at AVH. We are proud to say that this company have successfully helped 16 professional pilots to go on to the major airlines. Our hope and with the healthy demand for tour flying we will grow our list to 20 by the end of next summer. Thank you very much for writing this valuable review. This helps us promote the passion we have here to teach the next generation as well as showcase our young and vibrant professional pilots that do a wonderful job flying tours. Mahalo!
