Tour guide was super awesome, we didn't catch his name though :( He reccomended good places to go around the Keys, and also had gained the trust of an Osprey family so we could be super close :>

We had a fantastic time! Our guide was great and told us a lot about the Ten Thousand Islands. He showed us a bald eagle, ospreys and other birds. We even saw a manatee, although it was gone really quickly. But seeing dolphins was the most incredible experience. Our guide knew exactly where they usually are and took his time when we spotted them. Three or more even followed our boat and seemed to have great fun jumping in the waves for almost 10 minutes. Overall, it was a great tour!

We loved the whole experience. It was calm and peaceful out there, meandering through the 10,000 islands in shallow water. The highlights of the trip were, firstly, two osprey chicks in a nest with an adult nearby. Secondly a bald eagle chick, just fledged, in its nest with an adult nearby. Thirdly a small family of dolphins, close to the boat with a baby, a one year old and a mother. They swam around us for twenty minutes or so. Beautiful. Dave, who captained the boat (there were 6 passengers and him), has a master's ticket and his skill showed. He was personally familiar with the wildlife mentioned above. He told interesting tales of the area, including the 2017 hurricane and how the configuration of the islands changes from season to season. It was the best thing we did during our two weeks in Florida. His advice about our upcoming visit to the Keys was handy too.
