This Extended Lakes Helicopter flight takes you beyond the lake view flight. You will fly directly over Douglas Dam, and proceed over the lake. In the summer you get great sun-glistening views of the water and the people enjoying their time on the lake. During the winter months, the water level is lower allowing for incredible views of exposed islands and coves. Minimum of 2 guests to book flight.

On this tour you will climb to almost 1000 feet. You will see view of the French Broad River, Douglas Lake and Mountain Views in the distance. This is our most popular lake flight.

Had an awesome time!! So worth it! Shoutout to Rusty, our pilot, and Elijah, our boarding attendant, for an unforgettable experience!! Rusty was very friendly, and Elijah made it a very comfortable first time!

This company was very easy to deal with. I brought my son there for his first helicopter ride for his 6th birthday. The photo lady was so nice and took multiple pictures and made sure that my son could sit in the front with the pilot. The Pilot, Riko, was so awesome! He talked to all of us and made my son feel special for his big day. He was very informative but most importantly a safe, smooth, and very competent pilot! He was great! All of the staff there was so nice and helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

It was my favorite part of our trip. We were a little nervous taking off but once you get up in the air it is just absolutely incredible. Colin was our pilot and he was funny and enjoyable. Jay our flight attendant was knowledgable and helpful with a little girl we had with us that was afraid. He was kind and really great at his job. I purchased the extended lakes tour because I wasn't sure if we would like it. In the future I would purchase a longer tour as I didn't want it to end. We got the pictures at the end which is optional but I am glad we did.
