This Extended Lakes Helicopter flight takes you beyond the lake view flight. You will fly directly over Douglas Dam, and proceed over the lake. In the summer you get great sun-glistening views of the water and the people enjoying their time on the lake. During the winter months, the water level is lower allowing for incredible views of exposed islands and coves. Minimum of 2 guests to book flight.

On this tour you will climb to almost 1000 feet. You will see view of the French Broad River, Douglas Lake and Mountain Views in the distance. This is our most popular lake flight.

I arrived nervous as I had never flown before. But I was put at ease in just a few minutes by our boarding attendant Jay. He explained everything perfectly. Than our pilot Jordan took over from there. Very informative and beautiful trip. Our flight crew was top notch. Highly recommend for a great experience.

Didn’t think we’d ever be able to afford to fly in a helicopter but this outfit has tours for every budget! José was a great pilot and let our 7yo sit up front with him! Next time we come down we’re saving up to do a mountain tour! The rest of the staff were wonderful as well! Their photographer got some great pics of us as well!
