This thrilling tour takes 1 to 2 hours, plus time for transportation. The bungee jump in Monteverde consists of jumping off a tram, which moves on cables operated by a motor, into the center of a valley. The extreme jump is 143 meters off the ground. Jumper's minimum weight is 50kg. and maximum weight is 113kg. Transportation is included.

We did ziplining, super man, tarzan swing and bungee jumpining with Extremo while in Monteverde last week. The grounds were fabulous, and the ziplining was great. The staff that helped us zipline was friendly, and ensured that we had a great time. However, the staff at the actual information desk was terrible, and is in severe need of an attitude adjustment. They were not friendly at all, usually ignored me, and made us wait 3+ hours to give us a ride back to our hotel. Beware if you visit Extremo - they will make you wait for several hours after your tour is complete before driving you back to your hotel to ensure that their van is full.

I made a site inspection of the location and the canopy, but they let me try the bungee. This is the highest bungee in Costa Rica and the most extreme. 650 ft of altitud

We did both the Canopy Tour, and the Bungee Jump. Safety was paramount with these guys and they took it very seriously, but on top of that they wanted you to have fun, and both were in abundance. Firstly the canopy tour, this was a lot of fun, 12 lines, with a tarzan swing and rappel, and finally a 1km long superman! A huge amount of fun. Flying across the the rainforest was a great experience. The bungee jump...well it was a bungee with a bit of a difference, the view is incredible, and you are jumping from a platform over 400 feet in the air into a wide valley, there was a real flying feeling (unlike with some bungees where you feel the falling) it was great. I am an experienced bungee jumper, and it was a different rush, but a huge rush none-the-less. The staff, Danny and Herro (sorry about the spelling) were excellent and made us feel very safe, my girlfriend who chose this as her first jump (you know start small :)), trusted them implicitly and jumped first time! This is a huge amount of fun, and for the price of $100 I thought it was exceptionally reasonable.
