This thrilling tour takes 1 to 2 hours, plus time for transportation. The bungee jump in Monteverde consists of jumping off a tram, which moves on cables operated by a motor, into the center of a valley. The extreme jump is 143 meters off the ground. Jumper's minimum weight is 50kg. and maximum weight is 113kg. Transportation is included.

on my trip to Costa Rica, I hadn't planned on zip-lining at all. However, my friends wanted to zip-line so I went along with them. Boy am I glad I did! The prices to zipline with Extremo are pretty good. I like that there were many stations for us to zip-line from. They start you off kind of slow with the baby ones to make sure you won't freak out when the long zip-lines come up. The workers who helped us were with us the whole time and they were friendly, quick with the zip-lining tools, and smart. They made sure we were safe, but also wanted us all to have a good time. In addition to all that crazy stuff going on, they managed to snap a ton of photos of the whole group! I had a ton of fun with the whole Extremo Canopy Tour. The scariest one for me was probably rappelling. These guys were tiny, and I wasn't sure if they could hold my weight! LOL. The Superman zip-lining was a fun experience, but my favorite station was the Tarzan Swing station. Oh man! You jump off a ledge down into the forest only to have your life saved seconds away by the rope you're attached to. I would recommend Monteverde Extremo Canopy tour to anyone! :D

Everyone told me to wait until Monteverde to book a canopy tour. I am so glad I listened because this was the best canopy experience I have had. The views were breathtaking and the tarzan swing and superman were extremely fun! I highly recommend this company when booking your canopy tours.

The staff was rude to several people on the tour. The best english speaking "guide" was a 14 year old boy who panicked when confronted with a problem. The equipment was in poor repair, and had several of us concerned for our safety. Some left the tour half way because of this. The staff taunted and disrespected the participants, and even shrugged-off concern when they damaged peoples clothing. It was the last tour of the afternoon, and all the staff and management seemed more concerned with getting away than providing service. There is significant amount of climbing involved that even challenged fit 20 year-olds in the group. We have experienced several other zip lines and although this could have potentially been among the best from a distance and scenery standpoint, because of the lack of perceived safety, this was the worst. We had planned on bungy jumping with this company, but cancelled due to this terrible experience. This company unfortunately tainted our otherwise enjoyable MonteVerde experience. We have significant concerns about any safety inspections, and staff training this company provides.
