Great tour! Our driver Michael picked us up and halfway through the day mentioned this was his first City tour - we would never have known as he was full of information. We went right in middle of winter and as had the tour to ourselves! Michael our guide was full of local knowledge and could pinpoint interesting facts, noted some wildlife to keep eyes out and was happy to take out pictures at all the various stops. The tour highlighted to me how much I didn't know about Alaska and its history something Michael was a bit of an expert on. As it was just us we zipped through some sights quicker than other and in doing so Michael took us on a longer route to the university museum to take in more scenery as we had the time. The tour highlight was meeting Santa at home in the North Pole, he even recorded a video message for my nephew back home in the UK. The ice sculptures at the north pole was amazing to see. The tour took in loads of interesting sights and the Alaskan university museum blew my mind with the skull of unearthed mammoths and the remains of Blue babe! if you think there is not much to see in Alaska - think again take the tour and ask for Michael!

This was our first taste of Alaska and, thanks to Alyssa, it was amazing! She personalized the tour with many stories & answered all our questions. She even brought my purse that I left on the van back to the hotel to me! Thanks Alyssa!

We had a great guide and she made sure we were seeing everything we wanted to see. Our group was all in the tour that day,so we were able to ask as many questions as we wanted, and she answered them all. We had extra time so she gave us a couple extra stops on our way back into town. She always took pictures of us at each stop so we could all be in the picture. This is a great tour to see a lot of varied things in Alaska. Lynlee is a great guide and we immediately felt a connection since we share the same last name which is pretty rare in the US. We laughed that maybe we each found a lost cousin we didn't know about. I hope I spelled her name right.
