Our trip was an absolute BLAST! We signed up for the trip with class 2-4 rapids but unfortunately the river was too high so we had to go on the class 1-3 trip (obviously out of their control). While that was a bummer, our guide Trent was the BEST at keeping us entertained and chasing the better rapids. On top of that, he even recommended a fantastic dinner place. This company overall does a great job taking care of guests and we can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in WV! #forRobert #TrentistheBest

We had to reschedule the trip that we had planned with another rafting company because severe thunderstorms were projected. but none where available. So I called West Virginia Adventures and we were in a raft the next day. My party of four older adults had a great time. I strongly recommend our guide Cass, she truely knew the New River well.

Fantastic first time white water experience with guide Amy & driver Tim! Long stretches of flat, calm water punctuated by short bursts of rapids. Amy never steered us wrong! You paddle, but you're not exactly determining your success or failure on the river :) Nice packed lunch of sandwiches, chips, cookies, waters. The vegetarian option was PB&J, always a winner. Had the opportunity to get out and swim, and to jump off a big rock into the water. Loved it, will definitely book with West Virginia Adventures for Class III & IV next time!
