Guide was great. Interaction with family was awesome. Tristan was a awesome guide. Family trip was a good first rafting trip to get everyone introduced to rafting.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family outing today with Will as our guide. This was our first time on the river and he made us feel comfortable and safe while having a blast. We stopped for lunch, swam, jumped off rocks and had great conversation. Beautiful views with a wonderful family owned company. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible first trip on the New River Gorge with West Virginia Adventures!! Our guide, Will, was a great teacher who showed lots of patience and charm as he told us about the history and geology of the Gorge while throwing in a few jokes. We felt like we had the Upper New River to ourselves and lots of personal attention during our trip. We were able to swim in the River and get some great family pictures that we will cherish. We’re already talking about coming back to do the next level rapids. Our driver, Tim, was also a wealth of knowledge about the area and we enjoyed his company. The team made us feel right at home and had cold drinks ready for us at the end. We highly recommend them as an outfitter.
