Visit our newly renovated Dinosaur Hall -- Evolving Planet -- where giant sloths, woolly mammoths and dinosaurs mingle! Located on Chicago’s Museum Campus, The Field Museum also has dining facilities, two 3D theaters and an unbeatable view of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s downtown skyline. Death: Life‘s Greatest Mystery is one of the best shows they’ve had here in a long time. SO well curated, even to the inclusion of little spots for quiet respite/reflection. The impermanence of existence is explored in so many different ways, from so many different viewpoints; the introductory montage of images alone is profound. Really, really excellent work.

Was only in downtime Chicago for a couple of days. Had a visit here for a few hours but wished I'd had much more time as there is plenty to see. Would like to revisit.
