Visit our newly renovated Dinosaur Hall -- Evolving Planet -- where giant sloths, woolly mammoths and dinosaurs mingle! Located on Chicago’s Museum Campus, The Field Museum also has dining facilities, two 3D theaters and an unbeatable view of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s downtown skyline. I’ve never seen so many species under one roof. Last year their China Exhibition was incredible. Today there are different things they showcase but there is always an amazing array of animals, many extinct, rare or unique. Great for residents and visitors

We had a wonderful time at the field Museum with Sue being the highlight. If you don't know, sue is the larges TRex ever found. She is mostly intact. Exhibits are easy and enjoyable to read. The food at the Café was delicious. An enjoyable day!

There’s so much here, I wrote this review because the other 6 reviews rated it way too low. It’s a world class museum with hundreds of rare fossils and dinosaur skeletons. The interior is beautiful and you can’t even see everything in a full day because it’s massive. They charge you separately for certain exhibits but it’s worth it, so just buy the expensive package, I didn’t see the 3 D movie because I’m an adult.
