I spent hours here and still didn’t see enough. The exhibits are wonderful, the staff is excellent, the building is gorgeous. I can’t say enough great things about my visit

This is one of our favorite museums. It is moderate in size so you can easily finish the whole museum in a day. My son’s favorite is the hall of dinosaurs. SUE and MAX are both impressive. SUE was transferred from the lobby to a special room and MAX took over the lobby. It is a must to join the free tours provided by the museum as the guides are fun and truly knowledgeable. This museum has a seasonal program called Dozin’ with the dinosaurs. It is a fun program where you can sleep in the museum and have more time to explore and learn about dinosaurs. For kids who love dinosaurs, this program is highly recommended!

When I was a child my parents would take us to the Field Museum on special occasions. We always looked forward to the trip. I am now 64 and still enjoy going there. My favorite is seeing all the animal displays. It's hard to believe they were done so long ago and still look great. The dinosaur exhibit is done exceptionally well also. When my kids were young, I too brought them there. They enjoyed it as much as I did. Now they are older and go on their own. Hopefully when they have kids we can have 3 generations going.
