Experience the beauty of a rafting trip along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers, a short drive from Moab. Seemingly untouched by civilization, the landscape of stunning red rock canyons cut by the Colorado River provides awe-inspiring vistas throughout the day. Between thrilling bouncy rapids, you can swim, take photos and listen as your guide shares informative commentary about the ecology, wildlife and human history of the region.

This full-day trip starts by rafting upstream from Moab near stunning Fisher Towers and cover a 14-mile (22-km) section of the Colorado River. A combination of stunning canyon scenery and splashy white water makes for a fun day and photographer’s dream. Between rapids, drift lazily between soaring canyon walls and marvel at the red rock landscape along the river. At lunchtime, your guides serve a buffet-style picnic during a stop on a riverside beach.

Additional Info

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking; minimum weight requirement is 50 lbs (23 kg)
Inflatable kayaks are available upon request at no charge, please provide the request in the special requirements field at the time of booking
Please note, prior to departure, all travelers will be required to sign a liability release
Minimum age is 8 years
It is recommended to bring: Sturdy footwear (no shoes like flip flops/sandals such as Chaco's are acceptable), quick dry clothing, spring or fall rain suit, swimsuit or fast drying shorts, sun screen, lip balm, hat and a camera (preferably waterproof)
Every trip needs a minimum of 4 individuals to go out, otherwise the trip is tentative/cannot run if the min. # of people isn't met the day prior

I'm giving this trip a 5 because our guide, Keif, was awesome. He knew what he was doing, he kept us entertained with jokes, history, and some made up stuff I'm sure. The full day was so worth it. My sons and I would have felt incomplete if we had only done the 1/2 day. This is a very family friendly river run. There were children under 10 in our boat that had a great time too. The 2 side hikes were also an unexpected bonus. I wish the rapids had been closer to strong 3s, but that's not Navtec's fault.

We had an excellent day rafting down the Colorado. All very professionally done and great fun. The guides are all very experienced and riding the rapids was so much fun.

WE took the full day tour and for the first half it was only my wife and I which made it feel exclusive.David was doing most of the rowing as he was a trainee under the guidance of Keef,who we thought was terrific and very knowledgeable.The water wasn't very rough but the two boatmen made the trip memorable,so thanks to all concerned.
