Do either a half day or a full day to get a taste of rafting. Emma was our guide. She was quite polite and filled with interesting facts about the fauna and flora. I've done several multi day rafting trips and this is pretty much what you get except for the camping and fellowship. We saw all kinds of birds and some deer on the trip. Gosh only knows what saw us! Lunch was at a riverside pavilion and consisted of make your own sandwiches and side dishes. At leat $10 anywhere in Moab. So I think it's a bargin for what you get. I did the full day for $74 which included lunch so very happy with the day of floating down the river, looking at the scenery of SR 128 from the level of the river.

We took the overnight trip down the Colorado, which gave us two full days on the river. The river was low so the rapids weren't terribly challenging, but the trip was wonderful. Our guide, Keef, was excellent--from calling me the day before to find out what kinds of meals we liked to entertaining the kids on the raft for the best part of two days while the parents kayaked alongside. Along the way we swam, learned about the area, and camped at a beautiful spot with a view of a thunderstorm brewing over the La Sal mountains. It's a trip we'd do again in a heartbeat.

The guides were a blast. We spent the day with Tubs, and he was great. He built rapport with the kids, but kept fun and safety on our mind. Taylor was a joy to be around, and she's very funny...except when she is purposely telling jokes :) Great day. Just note that it is mostly a calm floating day with a few light rapids. If you are thrill seeking I would suggest one of their more advanced tours. The boats were great, everything ran on time and as expected. Thanks guys!!!
