The experience and knowledge of the guides astounded us. Not only do they love their jobs, but they are excited to share their feelings and experiences in the Big Bend area . They want you to see what they see and love of the place. My daughter and I learned so much about this beautiful area and would love to return soon. Jeff was our river guide and we couldnt have felt safer or more pleased with his skills on the Rio Grande. Cassidy was or guide on the Lost Mine Trail hike . His knowledge of the flora and fauna in the area was first rate. They were thoughtful and attentive to our needs and not bad to look at! We reccomend them highly!

An interesting kayaking trip on the Rio Grande. We were a group of 6 kayaks with two knowledgeable guides, Jeff and Cassidy. Beautiful scenery, cool water, bright sun, what more do you need? A stop for our sack lunch and choice of a hike and/or visiting a hot springs. If you can paddle for three hours and run through shallow rapids, you would love this tour.

Thank you for floating down the Rio Grande with us. We enjoy soaking in the hot springs, we call it the "spa day".

In a sense, this was a simple activity - paddle up the Rio Grand, stop for lunch, and then paddle down to the starting point. But it was much more than that. The scenery was awesome. The commaraderie that developed among the small group of strangers was rewarding. Jeff, our very patient and knowledgeable guide, worked tirelessly to encourage, inform, and make the trip pleasant and enjoyable. Paddling upstream took some effort, but no experience was required. We had a great time, laughed a lot at our seamanship, and highly recommend this trip.
