First time is always the best and I am thrilled that my 1st time EVER kayaking was with this company & Erica as our guide! The drive just to get to the river was a tour in itself. She was fun to listen to about the desert; the plants, geology and history. Loved the stories but, most of all she knows her river stuff. Completely, attentive to our safety & that means a lot to this ol' gal. A great way to celebrate 65th birthday! Oh yeah!

This trip far exceeded our expectations. Erin was our river guide and was extremely knowledgable about the history and culture of the area. She was a great guide and beyond patient with my struggling kayaking skills. It was a very chill and laid back trip. We got caught up in a bad storm on the way back to our car and she patiently waited for the storm to calm down (even though she didn't have to) so that we could get back to our car without getting soaked. This trip was definitely the highlight of our Big Bend visit. Erin gave us so many tips and we can't wait to come back in the future. I would recommend this trip without hesitation!

I really enjoyed my time spent with these two adventurous folks. We swapped stories all day long. The hail storm was definitely memorable as that is the most rain I have seen here. I hope to do a multi day trip with them in the future.

Erica and Erin are great river guides. We had an excellent experience on the Rio Grande with them. My normally cautious 12 year old had loads of confidence. Swam in the river without fear and went over some mild rapids. They were knowledgeable about the area and its history. Thank you
