Weather permitting, pull up to Historic landmarks and share a moment of history, take photos and of course taking an opportunity to stretch your legs while listing to the stories of the other Charleston.

Franklin is knowledgeable, friendly and amazing. His covid precautions were superb! I would do this tour every time I came to Charleston only with Franklin if I could just to learn more about it’s rich history!!!

We thoroughly researched and narrowed our choices down to 2 tour operators. We specifically wanted to explore and receive authentic insight ref. the origins of downtown Charleston, the role and contributions of Slaves, the ever-evolving Black experience and its undeniable impact on the Holy City! And, we received it and more via our tour with Mr. Frank. Thank You Sir! To further explore our interests, we also toured the McLeod Plantation and the Aiken-Rhett House. Amazing tour! Franklin has a great personality and is very knowledgeable to black history in CHS. He kept us laughing and engaged throughout the tour! We saw important monuments related to the culture! Highly recommend this tour if searching for the black history experience in Charleston!
