What To Expect

Biltmore Estate

Your Blue Ridge Certified naturalist will pick you up at your hotel or place that you are staying and transport you to the Bent Creek inlet for the French Broad River. The kayak tour is about 1.5 hours long and will take you on the winding river through Asheville and by the Biltmore Estate. Your guide will point out and give you interesting information about the local flora and fauna, as well as history.

Seeing the houses in The mountains we had amazing guides, Shawn and Timmy were awesome. These guides had a great sense of humor, which made it alot of fun. This was a fun and worry free way to kayak the French Broad River. We really enjoyed the personal kayak trip with Dave. He shared his knowledge of the river and was very personable. Our trip was easy to book on the website and Dave’s communication was excellent.

Loved loved our kayaking trip. David engaged our 4, 8, and 9 yo. We had a great time! Our kids said it was their favorite part of the trip. Highly recommend.
