My husband and I were the only ones on our tour with Melanie. The fact that she loves NOLA is evident. We learned about the beginnings, the area Indians, the history and influence of the French, Spanish, and Americans. We toured some parts of the French Quarter off the beaten path. It was a great tour packed with history and information. I highly recommend this tour.

Best tour of the Crescent City! Melanie is deeply rooted in the history and traditions of La Nouvelle Orleans, what a treat to spend time with her! Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop and Bar was my favorite--amazing to think you are having a drink at a bar built in the 1720s! Melanie explained so much about the life and experiences of the city, cannot wait to take another tour with her!

Highlight of our visit, and the one thing I keep bringing up when friends ask about the trip. Melanie has a super deep and detailed knowledge of the city and events that happened there. I loved how she paired details about specific places with broader historical context.
