Superb tour!! Melanie Boulet is an award-winning history teacher with encyclopedic knowledge of the French Quarter. She explained New Orleans’ complex history in a simple way, with fascinating details about its beautiful architecture and colorful personalities. I especially liked Melanie’s info about the impact of pirates—including Jean Lafitte—on New Orleans. Melanie also gave us recommendations for restaurants, bars, and a day trip — all of which proved to be excellent. Thank you, Melanie!
