Melanie was so friendly and knowledgeable! She gave us a wonderfully holistic and customized tour that we very much enjoyed. She is a local with lots of unique information to share. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a walking tour in the FQ! She also took great pictures for us.

Ms. Boulet was very knowledgeable about the French quarter and was able to answer all the questions we asked. She took us to places outside of the ā€œnormalā€ French quarter tour and it was delightful. We ranged from the river all the way over to Congo square. Her background in history is evident, as is her love for New Orleans and Louisiana.

I love visiting New Orleans! So having the opportunity of touring the city guided by Melanie and Boulet History Tour of the French Quarter has given me a deeper sense of the cityā€™s rich history and complex socio-ethnic background. Melanie gave us context and provided information about the key historical turning points of the cityā€™s evolution. Melanie is a native Louisianan and educator, and can speak with authority about New Orleans. Follow Melanie!
