I ended up being the only person on a 10am tour - and it was a great experience. Walking through the Quarter with a guide who really knows the history was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn more about the early and more recent history without the ghost tours šŸ™‚

ā€œTour guideā€ doesnā€™t really do her justice. Walking through The Quarter with Melanie feels like your learning with your favorite teacher! She taught for 29 years and is a teacher at heart. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about New Orleans history and seemed to enjoy teaching as much as we enjoyed learning. She is thorough, fun, and engaging. Our only wish is that we could have spent some time in Treme to learn more about its history and culture. Even so, this is a canā€™t miss tour for anyone looking! Choose Melanie. You wonā€™t regret it!
