Glad we did this tour, as full of useful info. Perhaps the only complaint is that there was too much info. The guide Robon was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Would recommend it.

Without a doubt, 5 stars!! On the day we were leaving New Orleans, my wife still felt there was a lot she didn't know about the French Quarter. In hindsight, we wish we would have done this tour immediately upon arrival as our tour guide John McCurdy was fantastic. He gave us so much history and information about the French Quarter that it would have been fun to filter everything we were seeing based on the newly acquired knowledge. Whether it was slave exchanges, duels, local street performers, iron work, architecture, historical anecdotes, and/or lots else, the information was plentiful and most importantly extremely interesting. Lastly, the tour guides are volunteers who are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the topics and their city and deserve the support to keep the museum going.
