This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Do not go for anything else in NOLA, this is the French Quarter guided tour to take. Real history not the stories and anecdotes they tell you elsewhere. Packed with information but still digestible for teens

My wife and I took two-hour walking tour of French Quarter offered by Friends of the Cabildo. Our guide was Daniella Barbara, who was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. She led us through this historic heart of her city. Agenda was well thought out, but Daniella responded very well to off-topic comments and questions. Her grasp of details, even those not directly part of her agenda, was phenomenal. We have taken numerous walking tours in The States and Europe. This tour and its guide were as good as any we have ever enjoyed.
