The walking tour I took with guide Grey Sweeney Perkins was a highlight of my stay in New Orleans. It was a delight to walk around the lovely French Quarter with her as she painted in the historical background of this fascinating neighbourhood, the architecture, the personalities, the stories. It's a good idea to do this tour near the beginning of your stay because from then on you keep noticing and returning to the places that your guide spoke about and your visit becomes so much more meaningful.

I am a NOLA native and had a friend in from out of town who had never been to Louisiana. Our Guide Julie was very personable and knowledgeable and really made the history come to life. I learned some things about my hometown that I had never heard before! Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent two-hour walking tour with volunteer guide Brian Begue. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the French Quarter and New Orleans. He pointed out interesting architectural details and shared historical anecdotes. I liked that the fee goes to the Louisiana State Museum.
