This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Lots of stories, legends and facts about the history of Lousiana and New Orleans. Don Nolan did this walking tour memorable and most interesting.

Well worth the price. The guide (Shelby) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and packed a lot of information into a two-hour jaunt. She was a volunteer, so did not waste our time with stupid jokes and meaningless trivia. The cost ($20) also kept down the size of the group. The 1850 House Museum was also worth a few extra minutes.
