The Friends of the Cabildo French Quarter Walking tour was GREAT! It started at the 1850 House on Jackson Square, we took the 10:00 am tour, our tour guide Ginger was fabulous, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We picked this tour for a few reason, no reservations were needed, the $15 fee went to help the Cabildo Museum, and it had good reviews, that were well deserved. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

In NO for business but able to get away to do the walking tour offered by the friends of the Cabildo, guide R Crawford. He was amazingly knowledgable about many aspects of NO and the French Quarter, from political and cultural history to scheme for controlling the Formosan termite.

I just had a tour through the French Quarter by a qualified guide. I learned about the history, the architecture, the people, the food, and some more interesting facts. My guide was informative, friendly, and entertaining. I also got a free tour of the 1850 House. Well worth the time and the money!
