I don’t place reviews very often, but Friends of the Cabildo deserves one. They run the best walking tour of the French Quarter without any doubt. Not only they have very reasonable prices, but they also are a not-for-profit organisation in support of the Louisiana State Museums, so all revenues go back to the institution. Our tour guide was Roger: an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable New Orleanian who took us along the streets of the French Quarter telling us the history of the city, the origin of its peoples, interesting details about the architecture, and some fun facts. Highly recommended!
