This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

Possibly the best walking tour I have EVER done. Bill Capo spent 3 hours with us (instead of the planned 2). Bill answered every question we asked. Incredibly knowledgeable. Told FUN stories.

Enjoyable walking tour. Roger was very knowledgeable as a former school teacher and was also great about keeping us in the shade on a hot summer day. Even though I've been to New Orleans before, it was nice to actually learn the history and appreciate the beautiful buildings and French Quarter area that I love walking through. 1850s Museum was also interesting and a nice quick view.
