Our tour with Charles brought the people of New Orleans alive with the stories and events that created this fascinating city. He answered every question, pointed out details in architecture, and kept our small group thinking and at times, amused. It's obvious he enjoys sharing his amazing city with visitors. Almost two hours flew by so quickly.

An extensive tour of the French Quarter with a very knowledgeable volunteer guide. Charles led us for 2 1/2 hours through the recent history, up to Katrina, and the colorful past of New Orleans, touching on jazz, creole and Cajun food, and of course the early settlers and various governments ruling New Orleans. He was informative without being dry and entertaining without being hokey. These tours benefit the Cabildo and are a great way to learn about French Quarter history and support a good cause.
