We had an excellent walking tour of the French Quarter, given by volunteer Stuart. The tour was informative, entertaining, and interesting. He particularly focused on tghe architecture of the French Quarter, and how it was influenced by the times.

I live in New Orleans and I learned additional facts about the special city I call home. The tour guide, Tom Whelen was knowledgeable and entertaining. If you are looking for a good overview of the French Quarter, head over to the 1850 house museum off Jackson Square. The tour lasts 2.5 hours and the time just flew by.

Great tour. Really nice guides who know the area and do this tour as part of a charity to keep some excellent local museums running. This is the perfect introduction to understanding some of the history of the Spanish.... sorry, French Quarter in New Orleans
