History is better than fiction. Had an awesome tour lead by Craig. He has more information than can be crammed into the time. He fields questions & doesn’t sound scripted. Great factual tour of history and architecture of New Orleans.

The tour started with a warm welcome at the 1850 house. Arlene then took our group on a tour of well known and lesser known spots throughout the neighbourhood. Her passion and joy in New Orleans came through in her descriptions of the people, events and architecture of the area. She was careful to try and keep us in the shady parts as much as possible to make the hot day tour bearable. If you go in the summer, do the morning tour for sure!

We had a wonderful time and our guide was so sweet and so knowledgeable. We learned SO MUCH; I was blown away by her recollection of the local history. We passed so many amazing shops that we took pictures of all the signs and after the tour went back to check them out and had an incredible time. We also even went to a restaurant we were shown, the Croissant D’Or and it was DELICIOUS. Lovely staff, wonderful tour.
